First at the European Property Awards 2011:
For the first time, a German real estate company has been selected as best estate agent in Europe
Berlin Capital Investments has become the first German company to receive the European Property Award as Best Real Estate Agency in Europe.
Berlin Capital Investments (www.berlin-capital.com), the International business arm of Zabel Immobilien Group for exclusive apartments in Berlin, has been chosen as Best European Estate Agency 2011, replacing last year's winner and estate agent giant: Savills.
"This competition brings together the best companies in the real estate industry such as Quinta Properties from Portugal and Blue Square Immobilier from France. A place in the premier league of European estate agents is justified by our success on the national and international property market," says Thomas Zabel, Managing Director of Berlin Capital Investments.
The European Property Awards ceremony is one of the most prestigious in the international real estate industry. A renowned jury of over 80 experts, including National Head of the German Real Estate Association (IVD) Sven Johns, Vice Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Paul Tayler and Rebecca Johnson from Bloomberg Television London, deliberate on the quality of European estate agents and on their key construction projects.
"Over recent years, German real estate agents have succeeded in establishing themselves on the international stage, but anyone wanting to be a global player, must also be measured against international quality criteria," says Sven Johns, National Head of the German Real Estate Association (IVD).
In 2011 as well, Europe's best developers, architects, interior designers and estate agents competed for the distinguished European Property Awards. The Award has been made for the last 17 years in cooperation with renowned sponsors such as Bloomberg Television and Google.
